The company was founded in 1992. Now Astana Motors is the authorized distributor of Hyundai, Subaru, BMW, MINI, Motorrad, Jaguar Land Rover, Haval, GWM, TANK, Chery, Changan, BYD, Genesis, Golden Dragon, and Foton, and the authorized dealer of Toyota and Lexus in Kazakhstan. The company is also active as a Hyndai distributor and BYD dealer in Uzbekistan. |
It operates two plants for the production of passenger cars and commercial vehicles – Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan and Hyundai Trans Almaty. It is also building a multi-brand plant, Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan, as well as a cluster of plants to produce auto components. |
