On June 8−9, 2023, the Astana International Forum was held in Kazakhstan, bringing together about 1000 participants from around the globe. Some 300 foreign and Kazakh experts discussed issues of concern. The focus of discussion was overcoming challenges on the path of cooperation, development and progress.

Astana Motors CEO Beknur Nessipbayev participated in the panel session «Charting the Path Back to Growth: Economic Recovery and Resilience-Building Measures”, where he spoke about the Company’s experience and plans for production development.

In mid-October, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Almaty between the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Chery automobile brand, represented by Astana Motors. Chery became the official sponsor of the Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The trilateral memorandum was signed by Kairat Boranbayev, President of the National Paralympic Committee of Kazakhstan, Zhu Shandong, Vice President of Chery International, and Beknur Nesipbayev, General Director of Astana Motors.

Hyundai and Satbayev University Team up to Train Kazakhstani Engineers

This was dedicated to cooperation between the leading technical university of Kazakhstan and Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plant (a subsidiary of Astana Motors) initiated in 2023 to enable sharing of experience by company's professionals with future engineers and automotive professionals.

Astana Motors to Invest 5.8 Billion Tenge in the Construction of MyCharge Charging Stations in Kazakhstan

The news was released at the Astana Finance Days International Forum in Astana, where the Kazakh company Astana Motors announced the launch of the MyCharge project to arrange electric charging station infrastructure based on technology made by TELD, the leader in China’s electric charging infrastructure sector.
