More than two thousand Kazakhstanis have chosen Chery cars. The brand representatives have officially congratulated yet another anniversary customer in Karaganda.

Chery keeps lead in sales among Chinese car brands in Kazakhstan and steadily ranks sixth among the country’s most popular cars. Chery sales started in December 2021.

The company plans to sell up to four thousand cars until the end of 2022. The sales grew by 6% in September vs August and reached 565 cars per month. At the same time, there was a boost in sales in summer — plus 37% in August and plus 21% in July. The sales leaders are Almaty and Astana. However, the brand grows in popularity in the regions as well.

To date, over two thousand car owners are in the Chery club. Kseniya Kinzibayeva of Karaganda became the anniversary customer on September 30. She purchased a Chery Tiggo 7 PRO Luxury.

«It was pleasing and surprising, I just wanted to buy a car but turned out to be the two thousandth buyer. I am very pleased with my choice — it is a smart car and the driving is comfortable. And five aftersales services as a gift are very welcomed,” the customer shared.

She said that she was surprised with the car price. Chery Tiggo 7 PRO Premium costs 12.2 million tenge, and Chery Tiggo 7 PRO Luxury — 13 million tenge.

«We respond sensitively to customer requests, while following the brand’s main principle — the customer always comes first. We have selected two SUV models for Kseniya — Chery Tiggo 7 PRO and Chery Tiggo 8 PRO and offered to test drive the cars. After that, she made the final choice in favor of Chery Tiggo 7 PRO Luxury. By the way, it is our best seller. The brand gains popularity in Karaganda thanks to the car price and configuration, none of the car brands has such an offer,” Nikolai Tsimfer, Manager at Chery Qaraģandy Dealership, noted.

Kazakhstan’s dealerships currently offer Chery Tiggo 4 PRO, Chery Tiggo 7 PRO, Chery Tiggo 8 PRO SUVs, as well as Chery Tiggo 8 PRO MAX, a new four-wheel-drive SUV.

The official distributor of Chery in Kazakhstan is First Motor Group belonging to Astana Motors. The Chery dealerships operate in Astana, Almaty (including in the new Mycar Almaty at Kuldzhinsky highway), Shymkent, Kostanai, Uralsk, Aktobe, Atyrau, Karaganda, and Pavlodar.

Eight more dealerships will open by the end of the year: one more in Astana, as well as in Aktau, Zhezkazgan, Kokshetau, Kyzylorda, Taraz, Ust-Kamenogorsk, and Petropavlovsk.

It should be noted that Chery cars will start to be manufactured in Kazakhstan in late 2024 — early 2025. In September 2022, Astana Motors signed a memorandum with Chery Automobile Company. At the end of this year, the construction of a full-cycle multibrand plant will be commenced in the Almaty Industrial Zone.
