At once eleven large families have celebrated housewarming in Agadyr village, Karaganda region. Large and furnished houses with all modern conveniences have been bought by Astana Motors from its own funds. President of Astana Motors Nurlan Smagulov and Akim of Karaganda region Yerlan Koshanov have attended the official ceremony of handing over the keys.

«Agadyr is my small homeland. My father grew up and spent his childhood here. Anyone who has achieved success should pay tribute to the homeland. I am happy that I can help my countrymen today. Our company is actively involved in charity by helping people. This is our concept, our lifestyle, and our philosophy,” says Nurlan Smagulov.

When choosing the families, which have got Astana Motors' assistance, priority is given to the large families and the families without income earners. These families live on welfare, and their family members are unable to work. All houses are over 100 square meters with a land plot for a small garden and necessary outbuildings. Each house has everything for a large family to live comfortably: several bedrooms, spacious kitchens, plasma TV-sets, etc. All houses are fully furnished, allowing the families to move to the ready-built houses and live there without spending their own savings on renovation.

Summer vacation of Farida Komekova’s children will start in the new house. Farida Komekova, a mother of six children, has waited for this day for a long time. The family has rented rooms before. Now the family has a large four-room house with a land plot of 1,200 square meters for a garden and a household farm. «Both my husband and I work, but despite this fact, it was a great problem for us to get our own house. Today is our happiest day!” says Farida Komekova, a holder of Kumys Alka.

Lyazzat Akhmaganbetova’s family has been on a housing waiting list for 13 years. She will also move to a four-room house together with her five children. «I did not believe that it would happen until the last day!” a mother of many children shares her opinion.

On the same day as part of his trip to Agadyr village, Nurlan Smagulov visited a youth sports school, which Astana Motors built in 2011. The company still supports the school by providing modern sports equipment and making timely repair. The school is a two-storey building with a total area of over 800 square meters. There are a pool and a wrestling hall in the school. The championships in judo, sambo, kazaksha kures, and football are held here on a regular basis. The pupils of the school go to the International competitions and win prizes at the competitions.

More than 4,000 pupils have finished school since 2011. More than one thousand and five hundred pupils are candidate masters of sports.

In addition to it, Astana Motors has established an educational fund for the children who finish school in Agadyr: twenty talented children has had an opportunity to get education in the best educational institutions of Kazakhstan with scholarships for the entire period of study.
