THE CENTER FOR DISASTER MEDICINE OF RK RECEIVED A NEW SHIPMENT OF HYUNDAI REANIMOBILES
On August 5, 2014, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RK transferred 14 new domestically produced Hyundai reanimobiles to the Center for Disaster Medicine in Astana.
The transfer of these reanimobiles was carried out within the framework of the Salamatty Kazakhstan 2011−2015 state program for the development of healthcare and the project of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RK, which was worked out jointly with the Center for Disaster Medicine. The project is related to the The Traffic Medical Rescue Stations.
It is planned to deliver new domestically produced reanimobiles to the traffic medical and rescue stations in all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These specialized vehicles will be used on the dangerous road sections and highways of national importance for emergency response in case of a traffic accident or other emergency situations.
The reanimobiles are produced at the assembly plant of Astana Motors KMC in Almaty, using Hyundai County bus technology by a special order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Unlike standard ambulances, the new vehicles allow an evacuation of at least five people simultaneously during emergency situations. The 7.5-meter long vehicle has a high roof that makes the work of medical personnel easier during resuscitation.
«The vehicles have the most advanced medical and rescue equipment with special devices for autonomous life support: generator stations, computers, GPS, and satellite telephone equipment. In addition, the standard model of the reanimobiles was modified at the request of the customer by adding rear doors for easy loading of stretchers. There is a manufacturer’s warranty for 2 years or 50,000 km of distance for all reanimobiles,” the representatives of Astana Motors KMC explained.
The domestic content of these reanimobiles is 51%.
In 2012, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan purchased six reanimobiles based on Hyundai County buses. In 2013, 14 reanimobiles were purchased. Under this project, it is planned to deliver 48 similar reanimobiles.
