FOR CHILDREN’S HEALTH

On January 27, 2015, the Perinatal Center of Akmola region in Kokshetau received new medical equipment. The required amount of money for modern equipment was collected at a charity bike ride, and Astana Motors KMC was one of the active participants.

The bike ride, supported by the Asyl Miras Charity Fund, took place in August last year in Borovoe. Up-to-date medical equipment for nursing premature newborns was purchased, using the funds collected during the bike ride. The equipment was transferred to the perinatal centers of Akmola and Kyzylorda regions.

The Perinatal Center in Kokshetau, which provides treatment of complicated childbirth from the whole Akmola region, had limitations until recently. It rendered full medical aid to babies born in the center itself. Now modern equipment is available in all its branches, and all newborns from 18 districts of the region will be able to receive medical aid regardless of their place of birth.

The full set of the new equipment at a cost of 56 million tenge includes artificial lung ventilation devices, dispensers, monitors, compressors, and other equipment for providing high-quality medical care and nursing of premature babies.
